What youd be doing in this role

As a Senior 3D Designer within our Mockups group you will play a pivotal role in driving the quality and innovation of our 3D content while closely collaborating with our Program Manager and Content Lead. This is a seniorlevel design role focused on producing outstanding 3D content and mentoring two designers to achieve their full potential.

Youll be an integral part of the team contributing your technical expertise and creativity to support the teams goals while working alongside the Program Manager and Art director to align 3D efforts with overall content strategies and priorities.

At the moment this role is focused on:

• Innovate and Explore: Work on projects involving the creation of new products and processes. This includes learning new tools and workflows solving unique challenges and embracing the unknown to build innovative solutions.
• Lead 3D Design: Drive the creation of highquality 3D assets such as models textures and animations to elevate Canvas user experience.
• Coach and Mentor: Support two 3D designers by fostering their technical skills design thinking and professional growth.
• Optimize Workflows: Streamline the 3D production pipeline to improve efficiency and scalability while maintaining creative excellence.
• Collaborate Across Teams: Partner with product managers engineers and designers to ensure 3D content aligns with project objectives and user needs.
• Set Quality Standards: Establish and maintain quality benchmarks for 3D content providing feedback and support to ensure consistency.
• Drive Initiatives Forward: Take ownership of key 3D projects ensuring deadlines are met and deliverables exceed expectations.

About the Team

Canvas journey in the Czech Republic began with the gamechanging acquisition of Liberecfounded Smartmockups in 2021. This strategic move enabled us to leverage our expertise in standalone products and dive into the development of innovative product visualization features with the goal of bringing mockups to millions of Canva users worldwide.

In the Czech Republic our dedicated team of 40 talented Canvanauts is diligently leading the creation of cuttingedge mockup products. In addition were actively engaged in many other magic projects keeping our innovative spirit alive.

While our team may be relatively small we have a tremendous impact on the global stage reaching hundreds of millions of users worldwide.
