Job Description
Thank you for your interest in the diesel mechanic role in Nixa MO. This is a unique opportunity in a wellestablished industry. CARDS is growing quickly due its aggressive acquisitions. They acquired 12 companies in 2023. Plan on matching or beating that number in 2024! This means there will be plenty of growth opportunities for those who are interested in growing within one company. This is also a great worklife balance for those who enjoy working on vehicles. This is a MondayFriday role with Saturday work when a Federal holiday closes the shop during the week. You are paid for the holiday and 1.5 times for working Saturday!!
This position is a night shift opportunity starting atwith available overtime on the front or back end. This role will work on the trucks and trailers. These are normally cleaned vehicles that have identified problems from the drivers. Rarely trucks breakdown on route. Senior techs go out to those calls. The shop works on all aspects of the vehicles to include engine breakdowns. Great role for someone who enjoys working on diesel vehicles. Built in growth as well!
Here are the key duties and responsibilities as outlined by the company:
Diagnose troubleshoot and repair fleet equipment safely and correctly.
Conducts failure analysis repairs and rebuilds fleet equipment components correctly.
Informs management about housekeeping opportunities harmful working conditions and unsafe work practices and suggests corrective actions.
Identifies and informs management of broken tools and missing supplies required for performing repairs on fleet equipment and takes steps to solve issue if possible.
Correctly completes complex work orders with proper description of condition cause and correction including properly completing a warranty return tag as needed.
Maintains a clean and safe work environment to ensure safety and compliance.
Complies with company policies procedures and standards of ethics and integrity.
Performed additional duties as assigned.

Requirements
Must have served in U.S. Army U.S. Navy U.S. Marine Corps U.S. Air Force U.S. Coast Guard U.S. Space Force U.S. Reserves or U.S. National Guard.
Strong mechanic. Motor T Construction battalions. Helo mechs too.
Strong technical background with a real desire for the role will go along way.
