Senior SAP FI/CO expert Brussels 12 months
Our important client is currently looking for a SAP FICO Consultant for a 24month contract based in Brussels.
Please find below the description:
Senior SAP FI/CO expert
Main tasks and responsibilities:
You will deliver and manage the solution follow up for SAP FI/CO first and second line support to the Finance and Controlling business.
You are in charge of the delivery of change requests from business requirements analysis to go live and will participate in blueprint and fitgap exercises for SAP FI/CO:
o financial and invoicing processes
o interfaces with third party tools
o master data
o Grey zones with other SAP business areas.
You will work closely together with business process owners in order to understand business processes and requirements to guarantee a continuous service and ensure a sustainable solution. You will estimate the effort in man days and convert the requirements in a functional design including an impact analysis of the changes on an existing system.
You will configure the system and write functional technical specifications for SAP FI/CO.
You will document and test your new/adapted functionalities: you are able to conduct both unit and integration testing in an independent way in communication and collaboration with all stakeholders involved.
You will onboard the business with supervised testing (for which you will draw the test plans) and execute the go live support to ensure a smooth and quality controlled deployment.
Depending on your skill set and interest you can get the opportunity to be actively involved in the preparation blueprinting realization and Go Live of the S/4HANA implementation project.
Your profile:
You have a master degree or equal by experience.
You are a handson experienced SAP FI/CO functional analyst with 20 years of experience in a similar role.
You have proven experience in multiple SAP S/4 HANA implementations in finance. Any experience in integration with other modules (such as SAP MM SD or FI/CA) is a plus.
You are familiar with end to end business processes and how these are reflected in SAP.
You have strong analytical skills in order to carry out a blueprint analysis independently.
You have large experience in writing functional and technical specifications.
You have experience in performing business support and executing change requests.
You are able to debug programming code.
You have a proactive and solution oriented mindset with a no nonsense style able to collaborate in a large (20 FTE) team in an independent yet connected way.
Communication skills:
o You can operate as a SPOC for the finance professionals at business side as well as be able to plan run and manage workshops/meetings with business stakeholders.
o You are a trusted and knowledgeable internal SAP finance stakeholder who feels comfortable addressing technical topics with specialists in other IT (SAP) domains.
You have the desire to learn continuously and to grow personal skills and professional expertise.
You possess the adaptability and flexibility to manage deadline pressure ambiguity and changes.
You are open to sharing your expertise and mentoring more junior colleagues.
You speak Dutch and/or French and English fluently.
