Job Description
Our client is an established and successful US investment bank dedicated to being a trusted advisor to their clients in all aspects of their business and personal finances. Clients are public private and familyowned businesses as well as financial sponsors family offices and other institutional investors.
Tasks
As a Vice President you will work closely with our senior bankers on business development relationship maintenance and transaction execution. You will be responsible for working on a variety of corporate finance and M&A transactions at all stages from origination and execution to transaction closings.
Key tasks include:
- Creation and execution of business development and marketing plans in coordination with Senior Bankers.
- Oversee the execution of live engagements from the initial preparation phase through the closing of transactions.
- Ensuring the quality of Associates and Analysts work.
- Recruit educate and train Investment Banking Associates and Analysts.
Requirements
- 57 years of significant experience executing M&A transactions preferably in the technology sector.
- Exceptional analytical and modelling skills.
- High energy with strong interpersonal accounting and finance skills.
- Ability to perform under pressure and tight deadlines.
- Extraordinary focus on work quality and attention to detail.
- Adherence to regulatory requirements.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in German and English.
- Ability to learn quickly with a particular focus on accounting rules and financial valuation methodologies.
- Strong client management skills.
