Job Description

We are excited to offer an incredible opportunity for an experienced and detailoriented Talent Acquisition Advisor to join our dynamic team at Minor Hotels in our vibrant Brisbane CBD Office. 

In this pivotal role you will provide expert recruitment support and counsel to a portfolio of properties across Australasia drawing on your stakeholder management skills recruitment expertise and strategic insight to deliver an exceptional recruitment journey for our candidates. You will make a significant contribution to our People and Culture team all while being part of a dynamic and collaborative team committed to making a meaningful impact on our organisations growth and success.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Advising and supporting hiring managers across multiple properties providing strategic recruitment counsel tailored to specific needs and roles
  • Crafting and posting compelling job advertisements to attract top talent ensuring alignment with brand and role requirements
  • Leading candidate shortlisting phone screenings and interviews with a focus on identifying highquality candidates while maintaining a high level of professionalism and efficiency
  • Offering expert guidance on salary and employment conditions ensuring alignment with industry standards and organisational policies
  • Conducting thorough reference checks and assessments to ensure the best fit for the organisations needs
  • Collaborating closely with Hiring Managers to refine recruitment strategies providing insight into market trends talent pools and recruitment best practices
  • Managing endtoend recruitment processes from initial candidate engagement to offer negotiation ensuring a smooth and exceptional candidate experience
  • Maintaining and optimising the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to ensure accuracy compliance and realtime reporting capabilities

Qualifications :

  • A minimum of 4 years experience in either agency or internal recruitment with a proven track record of delivering highquality results
  • Strong understanding of recruitment best practices attraction methods and market trends with the ability to influence and guide stakeholders on effective talent acquisition strategies
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to influence and build strong relationships with both internal stakeholders and candidates ensuring alignment with organisational goals
  • Demonstrated experience in managing complex recruitment processes from candidate engagement to offer negotiation with a focus on delivering a seamless candidate experience
  • Strong planning and organisational abilities with the capacity to manage competing priorities in a highpressure fastpaced environment
  • A proactive attitude with a passion for continuous learning and adapting to evolving business needs
  • The ability to work autonomously while fostering a collaborative team environment
  • A qualification in Human Resources or relevant field (preferred but not essential)
