About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity for a safety professional to play a key role in managing health safety and environmental (HSE) activities for regional operations. Reporting directly to the General Manager of Snowy 2.0 you will work closely with sitebased personnel to ensure the safety of all team members through risk assessments safety programs drills and meetings.

As an HSE Specialist your key responsibilities will include:

• Managing company and clientdriven HSE activities and initiatives
• Supporting comprehensive incident investigations and reporting
• Ensuring Food Safety.  HACCP compliance knowledge (mandatory)
• Conducting HSE coaching capability building gap analysis toolbox and prestart meetings as well as safety walks
• Identifying hazards implementing effective systems policies and procedures to continuously improve safety standards

About You:
You are an experienced safety professional with a proven track record in senior safety roles ideally within mining civil or facilities maintenance industries. You have a passion for fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement and you thrive in a collaborative highperformance environment.

To succeed in this role you will need:

• Certificate IV in Work Health & Safety (mandatory)
• Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (desirable)
• A current full Manual Drivers License for operating site vehicles
• Familiarity with ICAM and Root Cause Incident Investigation
• Strong time management teamwork and relationshipbuilding skills
