Job Description
Join our team where we pride ourselves on providing exceptional service and creating memorable experiences for our guests. Our kitchen is at the heart of our hospitality and we are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Steward to help us maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing the highest level of attention to all aspects of cleanliness and sanitation throughout the Kitchen.
- Assist with the proper storage and organization of kitchen supplies and equipment.
- Ensure the cleanliness and sanitation of all kitchen areas including dishwashing stations and storage areas.
- Assist kitchen staff with basic food preparation tasks as needed.
- Ensure that all dishware utensils and cooking equipment are properly. washed/ cleaned and sanitized.
- Dispose of kitchen waste and maintain recycling protocols.
- Follow and adhere to all HACCAP hygiene ALLSafe and WHS requirements.
Qualifications :
A bit about you:
- Great energy and a Find the YES! positive attitude.
- Commercial dishwashing experience (desirable)
- Experience in a fastpaced kitchen environments
- Good time management skills and a willingness to learn.
- Have a good work ethic and team player with a flexible attitude
- Professional wellgroomed appearance demonstrating pride in presentation.
- Flexibility and ability to work a variety of shifts including days including early mornings late evenings weekends and on public holidays
