Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Procurement and Commercial Negotiation
- Apply indepth knowledge of procurement processes and strategies to achieve cost savings and efficiency improvements.
- Lead commercial negotiations with vendors and suppliers to secure favourable terms pricing and contracts.
- Develop negotiation plans conduct supplier assessments and evaluate proposals to drive cost reductions while maintaining quality standards.
- Implement initiatives to optimize spend streamline processes and enhance supplier relationships.
- Manage and prioritise multiple projects ensuring timely delivery of insights and recommendations.
Data Analysis
- Analyse data comprehensively using Excel and Power BI including advanced formulas pivot tables data visualisation tools and dashboard creation to interpret complex datasets.
- Evaluate business opportunities market trends and operational efficiencies through commercial analysis translating data into strategic insights and supporting the IAG Airports transformation initiatives and relevant associated tender processes.
- Develop and present reports and presentations for internal stakeholders making data accessible and understandable to nontechnical audiences.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to gather requirements understand business processes and provide datadriven recommendations for process improvements and strategic planning.
Stakeholder Management:
- Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders to understand their requirements address concerns and solicit feedback.
- Build and maintain relationships with external vendors and negotiate contracts that support the companys interests.
Skills
- Analytical and Strategic Thinking: Ability to collect organise analyse and disseminate large volumes of information with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Presentation Excellence: Exceptional presentation skills with the ability to synthesise complex data into engaging understandable presentations for a broad audience.
- Excel and Power BI mastery: Proficiency in using Excel and Power BI to create advanced data models compelling visualizations and interactive dashboards.
- Inherent Commercial Insight: Solid understanding of business operations with the ability to conduct nuanced commercial analysis to support strategic decisionmaking.
- Superior Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills capable of articulating intricate insights and recommendations to both technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
- Creative ProblemSolving: Innovative and logical approach to identifying and implementing effective solutions.
- Organisational Prowess: Exceptional organisational and project management skills with the ability to navigate through extensive datasets and timelines to extract critical business insights.
- Strong people skills with an ability to coach and develop others
- Excellent written and spoken English and/or Spanish is a plus
Experience
- Change management experience supporting and implementing multiple solutions involving people process policy and technology
- Good understanding of corporate compliance & controls standards and practical experience in applying them in the own area of responsibility
- Working proficiency in MS Word PowerPoint
- Working experience in Ground Handling and/ or at an airport highly desirable.
