Technical Support Engineer (Remote) MapleCraft Engineers

Job Type: Fulltime Remote (Work from Anywhere in the United States of America)

Do you enjoy working in a fastpaced engineering environment supporting clients and teams to ensure smooth operations At MapleCraft Engineers we are looking for a Technical Support Engineer to provide expert assistance on engineering software IT systems and technical tools that power our projects.

This is a remote role with an opportunity to work with a team of brilliant engineers tech specialists and industry leaders. If you are passionate about technology troubleshooting and delivering exceptional support we want to hear from you!

What Youll Do

As a Technical Support Engineer you will be the goto expert for resolving technical issues improving system efficiency and ensuring our engineering teams have the tools and support they need to succeed. Your responsibilities will include:

Technical Support & Troubleshooting

Provide remote technical support to engineering teams diagnosing and resolving software hardware and network issues.

Assist in troubleshooting engineering software (AutoCAD Revit Civil 3D etc.) ensuring smooth operations.

Handle system updates configurations and installations for internal and clientbased platforms.

Document technical issues resolutions and best practices to build an internal knowledge base.

IT & Engineering Software Support

Support engineering software installations licensing and troubleshooting for users across multiple locations.

Assist in server maintenance cloudbased systems and data security management.

Collaborate with the IT and engineering teams to optimize system performance and technical workflows.

Recommend new tools upgrades and automation strategies to improve efficiency.

Client & Internal Support

Work closely with engineering teams project managers and external clients to resolve technical issues.

Provide training and guidance on software usage system best practices and troubleshooting techniques.

Ensure seamless communication between teams by providing clear and timely technical guidance.

Assist in cybersecurity measures protecting company data and ensuring compliance with IT policies.

What Were Looking For

Were searching for a techsavvy problem solver who enjoys finding solutions and making systems run smoothly. Youll need to be patient resourceful and great at explaining technical concepts to both engineers and nontechnical users.

Required Qualifications & Experience

3 years of experience in technical support IT helpdesk or engineering software support.

Strong knowledge of engineering software (AutoCAD Revit Civil 3D SolidWorks or similar).

Experience troubleshooting Windows & Mac operating systems networks and cloudbased platforms.

Familiarity with remote desktop support tools VPNs and IT security best practices.

Ability to analyze system performance troubleshoot errors and implement solutions.

Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical issues to nontechnical users.

Experience with cloud storage systems cybersecurity and IT infrastructure management is a plus.

Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering IT or a related field (preferred but not required).

Certifications in IT support networking or cloud systems (CompTIA Microsoft Cisco etc.) are a plus.
