Job Description
What youll do
This is an excellent opportunity to enhance your current skill base and join us as a Complex Care Assistant. You will have full training and clinical support to develop and enhance skills in various complex areas such as tracheotomy ventilation seizure management and stoma care plus so much more! We care for and support people of all ages in the community and in their homes with Spinal Cord injury Muscular dystrophy acquired brain injuries and many other complex needs. Every day will be different. And youll never know what challenges youre about to face next. One thing you can be sure of though is that youll be making your clients days brighter whilst developing your skills and knowledge.
The client is an energetic 6 year old girl who is part of a very big family.
Your role as a Childrens Care Assistant for Complete Care Amegreen would be assisting her to bed monitoring and observing her needs as she has a heart condition. She requires an NG tube for the administration of medication whilst managing her ventilator dependency feed and respiratory management.
Qualifications :
What youll need
Previous experience in PEG feeding and ventilators would be advantageous as well as plenty of care compassion and resilience.
