What You ll Do:
Indirect and Direct Procurement Support:
- Support the Indirect Purchasing Department with potential assistance in Direct Procurement as needed.
- Execute daytoday procuretopay transactions for indirect/noninventory purchases by converting purchase requests into standard purchase orders.
Strategic Sourcing:
- Collaborate with internal teams to understand thirdparty engagement needs identify and evaluate potential suppliers draft RFQs negotiate terms and pricing and manage supplier relationships.
- Identify reliable sources request bids evaluate quotes and coordinate contract negotiations to purchase materials and services.
- Lead outsourcing and purchasing activities including quoting scope of work and requisitions related to product development ensuring supplier ontime delivery.
Cost and Value Optimization:
- Develop RFx documents and evaluate supplier proposals based on scope cost timing and risk.
- Create and execute cost savings strategies to support company goals and department commitments.
- Study market prices and trends as well as industry developments and provide recommendations to management.
CrossFunctional Collaboration:
- Partner with R&D Engineering Production and Quality Assurance teams to understand requirements and timelines aligning procurement strategies accordingly.
- Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to ensure alignment and compliance.
Process Management and Compliance:
- Manage business transactions in ERP systems including requisitions purchase orders receipts and invoice processing.
- Ensure contract agreement compliance addressing legal implications and protecting organizational interests.
- Solve problems by analyzing potential solutions using technical experience and sound judgment.
Market Analysis and Reporting:
- Monitor and analyze market trends to inform strategic sourcing decisions.
- Communicate complex information related to procurement supply base or supply chain processes to internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements
- Must have served in U.S. Army U.S. Navy U.S. Marine Corps U.S. Air Force U.S. Coast Guard U.S. Space Force U.S. Reserves or U.S. National Guard.
- Bachelor s degree in Business Administration Supply Chain Management Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in sourcing and procurement.
- Experience in facility construction is highly desirable.
- Expertise in sourcing battery components such as cathode electrolyte anode material separator structural parts aluminum foil and copper foil preferred.
- Proven track record in supplier relationship management negotiation and cost optimization.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make datadriven decisions.
- Excellent interpersonal collaboration and communication skills; Mandarin proficiency and familiarity with Chinese culture are a plus.
- Proficiency in procurement and supply chain management software and tools.
- Ability to travel internationally.
