What You ll Do:
Design & Architecture:
- Develop and implement robust data center and cloud architectures aligned with business objectives.
- Design and manage hybrid cloud solutions that seamlessly integrate onpremises and cloud environments.
Operational Support:
- Act as the Senior/Lead Cloud Engineer during operations resolving issues optimizing performance and ensuring uptime.
- Monitor and optimize cloud resources to balance cost efficiency with high performance.
Security & Compliance:
- Implement security protocols and ensure compliance with industry standards across all environments.
- Design and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans for cloud and data center operations.
Project Leadership:
- Lead infrastructure projects from concept through implementation collaborating with crossfunctional teams to meet objectives.
- Maintain uptodate documentation on architecture configurations and processes.
Mentorship & Team Development:
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers fostering skill development and team growth.

Requirements
Qualifications:
Must have served in U.S. Army U.S. Navy U.S. Marine Corps U.S. Air Force U.S. Coast Guard U.S. Space Force U.S. Reserves or U.S. National Guard.
Bachelor s degree in Computer Science IT or a related field.
7 years of experience in cloud engineering and data center management.
At least 3 years in an architecture or senior engineering role.
Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS Azure Google Cloud).
Strong knowledge of data center infrastructure including networking and virtualization.
Proficiency in automation tools and scripting languages (e.g. Terraform Ansible Python).
Strong problemsolving and leadership abilities.
Excellent communication skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Certifications:
AWS Certified Solutions Architect Microsoft Azure Architect or Google Cloud Architect preferred.
Additional certifications in networking or data center technologies are a plu
