As part of Sandvik we aim to develop a combined offering for a more transparent production chain by linking the machining and quality assurance process.

To strengthen our sales office in the USA Metrologic Group is offering an exciting opportunity for a dynamic professional to join the team with a real impact on our business across the USA driving sales growth and managing our local sales team.

Position Overview:

As USA Sales Manager in this position reporting directly to our Americas Managing Director you will have the responsibility for implementing Metrologic Groups sales strategies and driving revenue growth through the various channels: Direct Key Accounts Resellers.

This is a leadership role requiring strategic vision sales expertise and the ability to foster collaboration among teams while building strong customer relationships.


Your mission:

You will be responsible for:

Strategic Planning and Sales Execution:

  • Define and implement sales strategies aligned with group objectives to drive business development within your territory.
  • Identify and cultivate relationships with potential customers key accounts distributors and alliance networks.
  • Develop longterm partnerships to achieve and exceed sales targets.

Team Leadership and Management:

  • Lead and motivate your team to meet and exceed sales objectives.
  • Ensure alignment and coordination between direct sales teams and channel partners to optimize efforts.
  • Support employee development by identifying skill gaps and implementing training plans.
  • Recruit onboard and integrate new team members while fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment.

Customer Relationship Management:

  • Act as the ambassador for Metrologic Group in your territory promoting our brand and solutions.
  • Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by addressing needs and providing tailored solutions.
  • Represent customer interests internally and maintain strong communication with all stakeholders.

Market and Performance Monitoring:

  • Stay informed of market trends competitive developments and emerging technologies.
  • Regularly review sales performance ensuring the proper implementation of strategies and evaluating team effectiveness.
  • Provide timely updates and reports using CRM tools to support decisionmaking and strategic planning.

Promotional Activities:

  • Participate in industry events trade shows and networking opportunities to promote Metrologic Group.
  • Develop and execute local marketing strategies in collaboration with the corporate marketing team to boost visibility and brand recognition.
  • Actively engage with social media and online platforms to support the Groups digital presence.

Collaboration and Reporting:

  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams including marketing technical support and operations to ensure seamless execution of sales initiatives.
  • Provide regular updates to senior management on sales progress customer feedback and market insights.
  • Contribute to the development of business plans forecasts and budgets for your territory.

    Desired Profile:

    Education & Experience:

    • Bachelors or Masters degree in business with a good knowledge of industrial fields.
    • At least 10 years of experience in technical sales within an industrial environment.
    • Proven experience managing sales teams and channel networks.

    Technical Skills:

    • Turn strategy into operational objectives
    • Draw up a business plan and associated actions
    • Setting up key indicators to ensure followup
    • Business and Management acumen
    • Familiarity with CRM tools preferably Salesforce or equivalent.

    Interpersonal Skills:

    • Excellent communication skills particularly in the context of collaboration and leadership.
    • Crosscultural competencies to navigate diverse business environments.
    • Ethical decisionmaking in all aspects of partner management.
    • Strong emotional intelligence to understand and address partner needs effectively.
    • Advanced problemsolving skills for handling complex partnership scenarios.

    • Digital/data analysis literacy for informed decisionmaking.
    • Ability to lead engage and unite a team
    • Ability to delegate and demonstrate pedagogical skills
    • Ability to organize and prioritize in a highly demanding environment
    • Ability to sponsor the companys direction and support change.


    Working Conditions

    • Team Management: You will manage and organize a direct sales team ensuring alignment with company goals.
    • Financial Responsibility: You will oversee the operating budget for your territory ensuring effective allocation of resources.
    • Travel: Regular travel within your geographical area is required (approximately 60%).
    • Safety: Comply with all customer safety requirements including PPE guidelines
