Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer with expertise in Spark and Java to join our dynamic team. In this role you will design develop and optimize data pipelines leveraging Spark for big data processing and Java for backend services. You will work closely with data scientists and analysts to ensure seamless data flow and facilitate efficient data processing. The ideal candidate will have handson experience with distributed data systems data modeling and performance optimization.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines using Spark and Java.
- Optimize Spark applications for high performance and efficiency.
- Integrate data from various sources and perform ETL processes.
- Collaborate with data teams to ensure data accuracy and availability.
- Troubleshoot debug and resolve data processing issues.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in data engineering with strong proficiency in Spark and Java.
- Knowledge of distributed computing and data processing frameworks.
- Familiarity with SQL NoSQL databases and cloud data platforms.
- Strong problemsolving and analytical skills.
