Job Description

Job Title: Virtual Maintenance Dispatch Coordinator
Department: Facilities Support Services
Location: Remote

Package: 1000USD
Reports To: Maintenance Dispatch Supervisor
Job Type:

  • FullTime (40 hours per week)
  • Availability required between 5 AM to 10 PM EST Monday to Sunday (40 hours per week).


The Virtual Maintenance Dispatch Coordinator is responsible for triaging prioritizing and dispatching service requests to the appropriate internal or external service providers. Acting as the primary liaison between customers and service providers this role ensures efficient communication and high levels of service. Additionally the role supports Facility Managers with capital project administration. The ideal candidate possesses strong communication and customer service skills with a proactive approach to managing tasks and deadlines.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary liaison between internal customers and service providers.
  • Ensure accurate documentation of all service requests and dispatch activities.
  • Collaborate with team members and crossfunctional departments to resolve issues and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Coordinate with vendors and internal technicians to assess availability and capabilities for completing service requests.
  • Monitor work due dates and ensure timely response to service requests.
  • Support capital project administration including sourcing vendor proposals coordinating capital expenditure approvals and updating budget templates.


Qualifications:

Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree preferred).

Experience:

  • Experience in QuickService Restaurant (QSR) OR Facility Maintenance is required.
  • Minimum of 2 years in customer service dispatching or work scheduling within a call center environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience with work order management or CMMS systems is a plus.
  • Retail or multistore environment experience is a plus.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong multitasking ability with the capability to manage emergency situations calmly and efficiently.
  • Goaloriented with a commitment to providing excellent customer service.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fastpaced environment.


Working Conditions:

  • Ability to sit for extended periods at a computer.
