As a Head of Innovation and Strategic Alliances you will:

For Innovation Strategy & Public Funding Management

• Define and execute the companys innovation strategy ensuring alignment with business growth objectives.
• Identify and secure public funding opportunities at the national regional European and international levels.
• Lead and oversee publicprivate partnerships and Tenders/ Public Procurement Processes initiatives.
• Supervise the preparation and execution of grant/bid proposals ensuring financial and technical feasibility.

Leadership & Team Management

• Lead a highperforming team specializing in innovation funding and strategic alliances.
• Guide crossfunctional teams in developing and executing collaborative R&D projects.
• Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the company.
• Collaborate with internal teams (finance technical commercial legal) to ensure the success of projects.

Strategic Alliances & Business Development

• Identify and establish partnerships with industry leaders research institutions and government agencies.
• Drive the commercialization of R&D projects turning innovation into tangible business opportunities.
• Represent Multiverse at key innovation and technology forums worldwide.
• Exploring and proposing new areas of application for quantum and generative AI technologies.

Required Qualifications

Education & Experience

• University degree in Engineering Physics Mathematics or related fields.
• 7 years of experience in innovation management public funding and strategic alliances.
• Extensive knowledge of national and European funding programs (e.g. Horizon Europe CDTI PERTEs etc.).
• Experience managing publicprivate innovation initiatives and consortia.
• Proven track record in converting R&D projects into business opportunities.

Skills & Competencies

• Strategic thinking and strong execution skills.
• Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management abilities.
• Strong leadership experience with a track record of successfully leading teams.
• Fluency in English and Spanish (additional languages are a plus).

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in deep tech sectors such as quantum computing AI or data analytics.
• Strong network within the European and international innovation ecosystem.
• Familiarity with funding ecosystems beyond Europe (e.g. North America Asia).
