As Head of Area IT Operations Management you will lead a team of team and IT managers to provide highquality IT services and ensure their operation and support. You will integrate selected local IT managers into the processes so that they can ensure the provision and operation of the IT area. You will also develop the expertise of local IT managers and external IT support experts to fulfil the companys expectations. You will also ensure that the team manages internal and external resource requirements across markets and develops the organisation accordingly.
PLANNING AND EXECUTION
In this role you will record all global and local business requirements in order to continuously adapt and reorganise the IT services offered across the entire IT area. You will coordinate and restructure existing teams and their responsibilities in order to successfully introduce IT services (e.g. GenAI). You will also define the focus initiatives and key topics of the IT roadmap and be responsible for their implementation. You will develop a recording and planning process for IT requirements based on the general business planning processes. You will also liaise with relevant business stakeholders and IT professionals to decide on new directions. In this role you will also manage the delivery portfolio for new IT services or planned changes. Actively participating in and driving forward steering committees and decisionmaking forums is also part of your varied area of responsibility.
OPERATION AND SUPPORT MANAGEMENT
As Head of Area IT Operations Management you will steer the areas service desk function to the next level of maturity balancing costs and benefits for end users. You will develop the desired ITIL operations and support processes for the area and ensure ongoing optimisation of provision. You will use and implement the insights and QM services provided to optimise the output generated. You will also develop management reports and the necessary organisational skills for a datadriven approach. You will also be responsible for managing the full lifecycle of IT enduser computing equipment.
Qualifications :
Degree in Computer Science Business Informatics or equivalent experience
Strong IT management experience encompassing people budget service operations support and relationship management
Proven ability to manage customer service functions and multiple stakeholder relationships across all levels both internally and externally
Experience in planning and leading strategic initiatives across teams with strong negotiation skills
Dedicated individual with a cando and teamoriented attitude and a strong collaborative approach
Experience in using and leveraging insights and data from multiple sources
Additional Information :
Due to legal reasons we are obliged to disclose the minimum salary according to the collective agreement for this position which is EUR 3471 gross per month. However our attractive compensation package is based on marketoriented salaries and is therefore significantly above the stated minimum salary.
