Lovisa Opportunity:
Supports the Business with the maintenance of the Fixed Assets registers and associated month end reporting.
The Assistant Accountant (Fixed Assets) will be responsible for:
Daily management of Fixed Assets including maintenance of asset classes and effective lives additions and
disposals
Updating the schedules which support the Fixed Asset Clearing (WIP) accounts
Preparing month end journals with appropriate supporting documentation
Preparing month end general ledger reconciliations
Ad hoc analysis as required
Assisting with Audit queries
Business process improvement
Providing support and cover for Finance Team as required
All other duties as directed by the Company
Lovisa Loves: A cando attitude with the following skills:
Bachelor of Commerce/Business or other related discipline
CA/CPA qualified or studying is preferred
Understanding of Accounting Standards regulations and guidelines as they apply to asset accounting
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Strong Excel skills
Ability to analyse financial information
Experience in the use of finance systems (Oracle would be advantageous)
Retail accounting experience desirable
