Demo Engineer

Job Description: Demo Engineer (IC1)

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Demo Engineer to join our growing team in the dynamic world AI first customer support and ITSM software sales. In this role you will collaborate closely with our Solution Engineering teams to deliver highquality product demonstrations help potential customers understand how our software can address their needs and provide technical insights into our solutions.

As an entrylevel demo engineer you will be trained and mentored to become an expert in our product and will play a key role in converting prospects into satisfied customers through engaging and informative product demos.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Work closely with our Solution Engineers to build innovative solutions for our customers by understanding customer goals & challenges and play an active role in the solution process.

• Ensure that demo environments are prepared and functioning properly before each session including managing user accounts custom configurations and integrations.

• Become an expert on the Freshworks platform and gain a mastery of our products. Become an expert developer on our platform by leveraging our SDKs and APIs.

• Build quick prototypes and customizations to demonstrate the integration capabilities of the Freshworks platform.

• Develop tools that help automate the demo build process and create efficiencies for our Solution Engineers.

• Translate complex technical concepts into clear understandable language for nontechnical audiences.

• Continuously improve product knowledge and demo skills. Stay uptodate on product updates new features and industry trends.

• Gather feedback during demos and provide insights to the product and sales teams to improve the product and sales process.

• Maintain accurate records of demo sessions including prospect details followup actions and outcomes.

Qualifications :

Qualifications

• Were looking for professionals with 13 years of professional experience. Experience as a Demo Engineer or in a related technical role is a plus.

•  Bachelors or Masters degree in CS/SE/EE/IS/MIS or related work experience is extremely desirable.

• Experience with technologies such as Python JavaScript (jQuery) Django AWS (EC2 Lambda) HTML CSS. Web development experience with Django is a huge plus.

• Mobile application development (iOS or Android) experience is a huge plus including using mobile SDKs within apps.

• Experience working with APIs (REST JSON/HTTP).

• Excellent technical skills and programming skills are a must for this role. You will rely on these skills every single day!

• Your ability to work on a crossfunctional team and collaborate is key. You must possess solid verbal written presentation and interpersonal communication skills.

• You are a highly driven individual with an execution focus and a strong sense of urgency
