Job Description

Our Rugby site have an exciting opportunity for an individual wanting to kickstart their career in transport and logistics to support the operation with dispatching and debriefing drivers. This role will provide exposure and progression opportunities throughout Warrens and the wider group. 

Salary: 25553 per annum plus 2000 night shift allowance. 

Working hours: SundayThursday 8pm5am. 

Key Duties of a Transport Administrator:

  • Administration and data entry of outbound loads.
  • Ensuring full accuracy of outbound paperwork.
  • Full upkeep of and data entry onto internal and external systems.
  • Data entry and accuracy of company trackers across all sections.
  • Handover to the next shift.
  • Report any issues to senior management.
  • Liaise with the warehouse operation to obtain or query paperwork.
  • Work closely with subcontractors to ensure paperwork is handed over in good time.
  • Track deliveries as required to ensure timeliness.

Qualifications :

  • Previous experience gained in a similar role is preferred but not essential as training will be provided. 
  • Excellent administration skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to succeed in a pressurised environment.
  • Able to work using own initiative and with little supervision.
  • Good knowledge of MS Office in particular Excel Word Outlook (or equivalent).
