Job Description
About your tasks:
- Act as a Business Partner: Balance longterm vision with shortterm goals by shaping the roadmap translating business requirements into actionable technical objectives and communicating their value to stakeholders.
- Lead Initiatives and Drive Alignment: Set team priorities align them with adjacent teams and foster effective crossteam collaboration.
- Own and Build the Order Domain: Design and develop scalable reliable solutions for managing orders across complex system landscapes.
- Build and Guide the Team: Establish a collaborative autonomous team culture mentor team members and share your expertise to drive innovation.
- Enable Other Teams: Provide tools strategies and functionality to ensure seamless integration and enablement across engineering teams.
- Ensure Operational Excellence: Define KPIs and employ SRE practices to ensure reliability observability and performance.
Qualifications :
About you:
- Proven Experience in SaaS Development: You have successfully designed and developed robust highly available SaaS solutions that address complex business requirements.
- Strong Java Skills: You have a solid background in building reliable and scalable Java services with expertise in system and software design principles.
- Expertise in Containerization and Orchestration: You are confident in using Docker and Kubernetes in production environments ensuring efficient and reliable deployments.
- API Expertise: You know how to design document and maintain APIs that are intuitive scalable and effective for integration with other systems.
- Business Understanding and Communication Skills: You deeply understand business needs and are comfortable spending 50% of your day in meetings translating technical solutions into business valueand business needs into technical solutions. You can present complex ideas to nontechnical stakeholders in a way that resonates with them.
- Team Builder and Collaborator: You see engineering as a collaborative effort fostering a culture of communication and trust and working closely with others to achieve impactful results.

Our offices are open but you are free to work from home from any location in Germany. It is entirely up to you if you want to pop into the office every now and again or if you work from home all the time.
