Job Description
Oversee and manage all procurement activities for large projects in Southeast Asia and Australia/New Zealand regions with responsibility for the entire procurement process from sourcing to purchase order creation and followup.
Technical
- Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with company objectives and project requirements for the SEA and ANZ regions.
- Manage the endtoend procurement process including sourcing vendor selection negotiation contracting and purchase order management.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to ensure favorable terms pricing and quality standards.
- Monitor and track supplier performance addressing any issues or discrepancies promptly.
- Analyze spend data market trends and supplier performance to optimize procurement decisions and achieve cost savings.
- Support Proposal Team in costing phase
- Manage and develop strong supplier relationship with Strategic suppliers
- Develop efficient teamwork with other APAC Procurement platform colleagues and other departments (Business DevelopmentProcess and Applications Engineering Proposal Project Execution Finance Legal)
- Liaise with Veolia Corporate Procurement to leverage and apply all worldwide contractual terms with global suppliers
- Actively support implementation of Procurement system and procedures in accordance with VEOLIA Procurement Policy
- Respect quality security and environmental policy
Qualifications :
Education
- Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management Business Administration or related field.
Experince
- 5 year(s) of experience in EPC Industry (Water Industry preferred but not mandatory)
- 10 year(s) of experience in Procurement
- Experience in working within an MNC with regional exposure
- Strong knowledge of procurement processes sourcing strategies and contract management
- Work experience in the SEA & ANZ region
