You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailOur client an offshore solutions provider is seeking a Global Head of Procurement & Supply Chain to lead and optimize their procurement operations. This role is pivotal in driving cost efficiency supplier performance and supply chain resilience while aligning procurement activities with the company's business goals. The successful candidate is expected to have a strong track record in procurement leadership supplier management and strategy execution to collaborating with regional counterparts to implement best practices and innovative solutions.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement a robust procurement strategy aligned with the company's objectives
Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements across the supply chain.
Drive sustainability and ethical sourcing in procurement practices.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to ensure quality reliability and performance.
Lead negotiations to secure the best value in terms of price quality and delivery.
Develop a risk management strategy to mitigate supply chain disruptions.
Oversee the endtoend procurement process ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.
Implement tools and technologies to improve procurement efficiency and datadriven decisionmaking.
Monitor procurement performance metrics and ensure KPIs are consistently met or exceeded.
Partner with internal stakeholders (e.g. operations finance and sales) to understand their needs and ensure alignment in procurement strategies.
Support crossfunctional projects to enhance supply chain effectiveness.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management Business Administration or a related field
Minimum of 8–10 years of progressive experience in procurement & supply chain in offshore business with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
Proven expertise in strategic sourcing supplier negotiation and supply chain risk management.
Strong understanding of the marine offshore or industrial supply chain industry is highly advantageous.
Proficiency in procurement tools ERP systems and data analytics.
Exceptional leadership communication and stakeholder management skills.
A track record of delivering measurable cost savings and process improvements.
Knowledge of sustainable and ethical procurement practices is an advantage.
