To excel in this role you should be an active listener have a compelling sales personality and a hunger to chase and close new business from cold calls and inbound warm leads. The Business Development Executive is responsible for managing developing and growing sales within a designated territory. The role focuses on identifying new business opportunities and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
Prospect and Secure New Clients:
- Identify potential new customers within a territory.
- Develop and implement strategies to secure new business.
- Arrange business meetings with prospective clients.
- Promote the clients products/services addressing or predicting clients objectives.
- Prepare sales contracts ensuring adherence to rules and guidelines.
Manage and Grow Existing Accounts:
- Foster strong relationships with clients understanding their needs and ensuring their satisfaction.
- Identify upsell and crosssell opportunities within existing accounts.
Sales Targets:
- Meet or exceed assigned sales targets for the territory.
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan that expands the clients customer base and ensures a strong presence in the territory.
Product Knowledge:
- Maintain a deep understanding of the clients products and services.
- Offer tailored solutions to clients based on their unique needs.
Sales Forecasting:
- Update and maintain an accurate pipeline in CRM Salesforce.
Team Collaboration:
- Work closely with the sales team and other departments to ensure a cohesive approach within the region.
- Share best practices and insights with the team.
Core Skills Requirement:
- Proven work experience of a minimum of 2 years as a Business Development Manager Sales Executive or relevant role.
- Proven sales track record.
- Ability to be a key team player take ownership and help customers with a positive attitude.
- Proven ability to problemsolve and multitask.
- Strong planning organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication skills verbal written and listening.
- Proven fluency in English (verbal and written).
- Willingness and enthusiasm to participate in ongoing training and development.
- Ability to build rapport.
- Commercial awareness.
- Selfmotivated and the ability to be motivated by targets.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM Software (Salesforce).
- Full clean driving license.
