Location: Bellevue WA
Duration: 12 to 18 Months
Work Schedule: PST focus
The candidate MUST come to the office (and must reside within the 50mile radius). 3 days a week.
Job Description
Summary:
The Sr. Principal Business Analyst will be responsible for supporting multiple largescale projects concurrently related to product software and process development including development of requirements testing plans and process documents. Products include cloudbased software used to facilitate ambulatory cardiac monitoring and reporting. This is a highprofile project within client and will bring a product thats going to be cleared by the FDA for 510k and this will be the version thatll go to production. This PM will be managing this product. The project is about adding features that arent already on this product. The team uses Azure DevOps. This BA should extract information from various stakeholders develop the technical requirements and be familiar with traceability and validation etc. This BA will work very closely with various developers and has to come in with good prioritization skills and stay ahead of the development teams at all times.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Working with Product Management the IDTF Customer Experience Finance and IT ensures that needs of key stakeholders are analyzed and clearly specified.
Collects analyzes and verifies requirements for completeness consistency comprehensibility feasibility and conformity to standards.
Participates as a product and feature subject matter expert in product definition and support.
Translates conceptual user requirements into functional requirements / technical specifications in a clear manner that is comprehensible to developers/project team.
Creates process models specifications diagrams and charts to provide direction to developers and/or the project team.
Working with the business leaders develops process documentation and work instructions with a focus on quality and team efficiency.
Defines and executes testing plan to identify functionality or data issues up stream in the development process and prior to implementation.
Supports the technical team with preparation of documents for regulatory compliance to the FDA and other global standards.
Identifies and solves strategic and tactical product and program problems.
Drives cross functional decision making in the areas of program strategy project scope task and feature prioritization and feature definition.
Provides guidance and mentoring to team members in navigating product development and production support of a medical device.
Supports the project manager in completing project plan tasks managing team / stakeholder expectations for timeline and deliverables drafting stakeholder communications and meeting project milestones.

Qualifications:

Education and/or Experience:
BS/BA degree required in related Engineering discipline. Focus on Software and Project Management skills.
12 years required experience with Business Analyst / Project Analyst roles with demonstrable evidence of successfully partnering with customers and achieving shared goals and outcomes.
Extensive experience on projects for software engineering and IT with a customer facing product focus.
Healthcare and/or medical device experience is preferred.

Software / Experience Requirements: Familiarity with Azure DevOps KANBAN boards Task boards Configuration Management etc. would be very helpful. Looking for a seasoned individual with 10 years of experience as a Business Analyst.

Medical Device Industry Experience: Yes required.

Product overview: Patients wear a patch on a sternum and the device records their heartbeat. The patient interface on the mobile device and the cloudbased software is what this project entails.

Where is this project now The project has been under development and this PM would come in and take on the project.
