The Public and Social Infrastructure Sales Headquarters is responsible for central government ministries and agencies local governments universities/research institutes hospitals and social infrastructure companies throughout Japan. Among these you will be responsible for social infrastructure companies (electricity gas railways) in the Chubu/Kansai/Chugoku/Shikoku/Kyushu/Okinawa areas and will play the role of a presales engineer and account SE who will understand our wide range of security product portfolios and combine them to propose optimal solutions.
Specifically
You will approach end users and provide sales support to related partners (as an SE you will create a sales and support system to turn our products into services). In order to help our security product portfolio understand and promote product sales you will provide information and respond to inquiries from a technical perspective such as product explanations training workshops and demonstrations. You will also provide technical support and case support for products that have been turned into services. You will also collect information from other companies in the industry understand the advantages of your own products and make effective differentiation proposals to contribute to sales expansion. You will also work with other departments within the company such as product sales and marketing teams to increase awareness in your market and create cases.
Social infrastructure companies
are facing major challenges in terms of how to protect core infrastructure including IT/OT from increasing threats and the scope of the market in which we can provide support is extremely large.
We already have a strong track record in each market but in order to further expand our business you will be directly approaching social infrastructure companies to find new projects.
Qualifications :
Your Experience
MUST
Experience as a presales SE is required. Experience in presales proposal activities (customer analysis problem raising solution proposal)
Continue selflearning to maintain technical leadership in the technologies covered by the companys products (security network data center SDN public cloud etc.) Collect information on industry trends and competitors understand the advantages of the companys products etc. and make effective proposals
Japanese language ability (fluent or native level Japanese Language Proficiency Test Level 1)
English language ability (reading and writing: business level)
WANT
Experience in selling network infrastructure/cloud security products as well as demonstration installation and troubleshooting
Experience proposing networks and security for public clouds and containers
Experience proposing effective combinations of multiple products and solutions Experience engaged in productization and service development
Other
Able to proactively selflearn and acquire skills in new products and technologies
Able to take ownership of problem solving and act
Able to collaborate and work in teams both within and outside the company
