About this Job:
QSourcing Limited trading as QSourcing Servtec is a manpower management solutions firm operating in the East African Region in the countries of Tanzania Uganda Kenya Rwanda and South Sudan.
On behalf of our Tanzania based client we are looking for a competent and experienced CAD Designer
The CAD Design Engineer will be reporting to the Field
Engineering Lead for job duties and responsibilities. Providing Autodesk CAD (Version 2024) drafting services to the
Field Engineering Team to amend markedup drawings with approved revision changes as required by Field Disciplines Engineers including Civil structural Architectural Mechanical Pipelines Electrical Instruments and others as required. The position is Dar es Salaam office based for local Tanzanian; occasional site attendance visits of days could be required.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
ACTIVITIES
Ability to adopt drafting tool symbology for clarity of presentation.
Familiar with drawing office culture and need timely delivery to Construction priorities
Manage drawing revision between design office Mumbai India
Dar es Salaam Field Engineering and Company site Contractors
as required.
Maintain electronic Redline markup of drawings to approved management of Change instructions via raised Site Technical Change and Technical Change Request documents.
Manage the Contractor submitted Master Asbuilt records in the Master document system and check for quality for drafting.
Maintain a good working relationship with the Company and Company Contractors representatives.
Attend meetings with the Company and Company Contractor to provide support and discuss queries.
Requirements
MANDATORY v REQUIREMENTS
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Fluent English written and spoken.
Years of experience in Oil & Gas industry is advantage.
Competency within industry applications such as; Adobe MS Office; Word Excel PowerPoint MS Project.
Experience on E3D model would be advantage.
ADDED ADVANTAGE
Used to working in multicultural environment.
