Job Description

Title: Mainframe Developer

Location: Sioux Falls SD (Hybrid)

Experience : 8yrs

Visa : Any

Need candidate who can start in 10 days.

COBOL JCL & VSAM Knowledge of XPEDITER or any other similar tool for debugging programs Knowledge of basic mainframe tools & utilities (Fileaid/FileManager Abendaid/Dumpmaster ISPF Endevor/Changeman SORT etc.)

Job Description:

6 to 8 years as a software development engineer with mainframe technologies

Should be able to develop modify & unit test programs using COBOL JCL & VSAM

Performs and completes specific programming activities to deliver routine programs

Provides testing of basic and routine functionality to complete and deliver assignments.

Follows defining specifications coding standards and project guidelines to ensure code integrity.

Assists in the creation of documentation to meet projects and users requests.

Strong technical skills (COBOL JCL and VSAM)

Knowledge of XPEDITER or any other similar tool for debugging programs

Knowledge of basic mainframe tools & utilities (Fileaid/FileManager Abendaid/Dumpmaster ISPF Endevor/Changeman SORT etc.)

Selfdisciplined strong problem solving/trouble shooting skills. Good communication skills (verbal and written)

Candidate with experience of Life Insurance application would be given preference.
