SUMMARY
We are seeking a detailoriented and reliable Account Analyst to support our accounting department with daytoday financial operations. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of accounting principles tax computation and compliance requirements as well as excellent organizational skills. As an Accounting Assistant you will play a key role in maintaining financial records processing invoices supporting overall financial reporting and ensuring taxrelated compliance. The ideal candidate will consolidate and analyze financial data develop reports on profitability and risks and offer creative recommendations to optimize financial performance. The Finance Analyst will play a critical role in supporting decisionmaking processes and ensuring the company s financial stability.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist with daily accounting operations including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Process and record financial transactions ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
- Prepare and maintain financial reports spreadsheets and other documentation.
- Reconcile bank statements and other financial accounts.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and budgets.
- Assist with tax computation and ensure proper tax filing for both direct and indirect taxes (e.g. VAT WHT etc).
- Maintain tax records and documentation to ensure compliance with relevant tax regulations.
- Assist in preparing and submitting tax returns and other taxrelated filings.
- Assist with audit preparation and other compliancerelated tasks.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with financial regulations policies and internal controls.
- Perform other accountingrelated duties as assigned.
- Handle routine clerical tasks such as filing data entry and organizing accounting records.
- Support monthend and yearend closing processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor s degree (1st class or 2:1) in Accounting Finance or a related field.
- Professional accounting qualification (e.g. ACA or equivalent) is preferred OR at the final stage of the professional exam.
- 1 3 years of previous experience in an accounting or finance role.
- Knowledge of tax regulations and experience in tax computation and compliance.
- Proficiency with accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks) and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fastpaced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently.
