About the Role
AP Recruiters seeks a Sourcing Specialist V to join our clients Power Generation business unit. This role involves executing complex sourcing processes negotiating supplier agreements and driving costeffective solutions. The ideal candidate is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in procurement and a proven track record of managing highstakes contracts.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute and oversee sourcing processes for assigned business areas.
- Analyze complex bid responses identify commercial differences and make supplier recommendations.
- Develop and maintain strategic relationships with suppliers and internal business units.
- Lead contract negotiations under tight deadlines.
- Recommend and communicate sourcing strategies to leadership.
- Conduct industry analysis and monitor supplier performance.
- Identify costsaving opportunities to reduce the total cost of ownership.
- Ensure compliance with corporate legal and environmental guidelines.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Bachelors degree or equivalent professional experience.
- At least 3 years of experience in supply chain management or sourcing.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in Business Supply Chain or a related field.
