Job Description

An established veterinary practice in Chesterfield is seeking an experienced and dedicated individual to join its friendly and supportive team. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate veterinary surgeon to make a real difference in the lives of pets and their owners while working in a positive and collaborative environment.

About the Practice:

This practice have been led by their Veterinary Surgeon and Partner for 17 years. The practice currently consists of 4 vets 6 nurses and 5 client care advisors. The practice is purposebuilt with stateoftheart equipment and serves an expanding and loyal client base.

Chesterfield is a historic market town in Derbyshire England offering a rich heritage and picturesque surroundings. The town boasts a vibrant centre modern amenities and one of the largest openair markets in the UK. Surrounded by the stunning Peak District Chesterfield provides ample opportunities for outdoor activities such as hiking and cycling. Additionally with excellent transport links to cities like Sheffield and Nottingham it is a convenient and attractive place to live and work.

About the Candidate: The ideal candidate will be:

  • A qualified and RCVSregistered Veterinary Surgeon
  • Confident in small animal medicine and surgery with experience in routine and emergency procedures
  • Equipped with excellent communication skills focused on delivering exceptional client care
  • Able to work well both independently and as part of a team
  • Committed to ongoing professional development and staying current with the latest veterinary practices
  • A positive caring individual with a genuine passion for animal welfare
  • A strong team player with an eagerness to contribute fresh ideas and energy
  • Interested in learning about the business aspects of the practice and motivating the team to achieve personal and practice goals
