Urgent requirement of SAP HANA Database / Sybase Administrator Contract Sydney
Requirements
1. Experience in SAP HANA and Sybase ASE database administration.
2. Handson experience in SAP HANA 2.0 administration installation and troubleshooting.
3. Strong knowledge of SAP HANA Studio HANA Cockpit and HANA DB SQL scripting.
4. Experience with Sybase ASE Sybase IQ and Replication Server.
5. Expertise in backup/recovery high availability (HA) and disaster recovery (DR) solutions.
6. Strong database performance tuning and troubleshooting skills.
7. Knowledge of Linux environments (RHEL SUSE) and shell scripting.
8. Experience working with SAP Basis application teams and infrastructure teams.
9. Knowledge of database security best practices.
10. SAP ASE (Sybase) Database Administrator Certification is added advantage.
Duration: 06 months and possible extension
Eligibility: Australian/NZ Citizens/PR Holders only
Essential Criteria: 1. Provide an example where you have actively tested a COTS product such as Microsoft CRM, SAP Concur 2. Provide an example demonstrating your ability and willingness to learn and adapt to changing technologies, roles and responsibilities within a transformative environment. 3. Provide a statement demonstrating how your skills and experience can successfully analyse requirements, plan & execute tests, raise & resolve defects in an organization using multiple test methodologies. 4. Should have ISTQB Foundation certification Desirable Criteria: 1. Knowledge of any testing tool such as JIRA, DevOps 2. Knowledge of test automation Department: Australian Maritime Safety Authority Estimated start date: Monday, 17 February 2025 Initial contract duration: 12 months Extension term: 12 months Number of extensions: 01 Experience level: APS5 equivalent Location of work: ACT Working arrangements: Hybrid (Must be in office at least 2 days a week) Maximum hours: 40 hours per week Security clearance: Must be able to obtain Baseline Email:
