Urgent requirement of Principal Engineer API DevSecop Contract Sydney
Requirements
Principal Engineer with API DevSecop skills
API Development:
- Design develop and maintain robust and scalable .NET APIs in accordance with best practices.
- Utilize frameworks such as ASP.NET Core to build RESTful and GraphQL APIs.
- Ensure optimal API performance security and reliability.
Cloud Engineering:
- Design and implement cloudnative solutions on AWS leveraging services such as ECS Fargate and Kong API gateway.
- Build scalable and resilient applications while ensuring optimal resource utilization in cloud environments.
DevOps Practices:
- Advocate for and implement DevOps methodologies and practices.
- Automate build test and deployment processes using tools like Jenkins CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code.
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to ensure smooth operations and effective incident response.
API Design and Documentation:
- Design APIs in accordance with industry standards such as Swagger and OpenAPI specifications.
- Create clear and concise API documentation for developers to ensure ease of use and integration.
- Ensure API consistency and maintainability throughout the development lifecycle.
BIAN Service Domain Knowledge:
- Understand BIAN service domains and their mapping to software components.
- Apply BIAN principles to design and develop modular reusable software solutions.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Strong proficiency in .NET C# and ASP.NET Core.
- Deep understanding of RESTful API design principles and best practices.
- Extensive experience with AWS cloud services and infrastructure.
- Solid knowledge of DevOps principles and tools (Jenkins CI/CD pipelines infrastructure as code).
- Familiarity with API design standards like Swagger and OpenAPI specifications.
- Understanding of BIAN service domains and their mapping to software components.
- Strong problemsolving and analytical skills.
- Very Good Communication Skills
