Are you passionate about road safety and empowering drivers to navigate the roads with confidence As an NRMA Driving Instructor youll play a vital role in shaping safer more skilled driverswhether theyre learners taking the wheel for the first time seniors staying mobile or helping business keeping their employees safe through road safety practices and education

Your roster & Location:
You will service the Sutherland Shire & South Sydney areas working 38 hrs per weekMonday Sundaybetween the hours of 7am 8pm. Shifts are scheduled based on customer demand which are more heavily distributed across weekends and before & after school. Rosters will be supplied in advance enabling you with the flexibility to plan for positive work/life balance.  
 

What Youll Bring

NRMA is committed to ensuring a safe and positive customer experience and is seeking staff who possess the following: 

  • Current Certificate 1V in Transport and Logistics 

  • Valid NSW C class Drivers Licence and 12 months experience as a driving instructor in Australia with TfNSW Safer Drivers Course accreditation.  

  • Senior Assessment qualifications preferable but not essential. 

  • Valid WWCC check 

  • Facilitation skills (Cert IV Training and Assessment) preferred but not essential however a willingness to undergo training is a must 

  • Passion and dedication to help our learner drivers of today become safe and independent drivers 

  • Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills with the ability to exude empathy and patience in all interactions 

  • The ability to drive NRMA products and positive reviews through a need based selling approach 

  • Excellent communication with the ability to effectively engage with a broad spectrum of individuals spanning from differing levels of driving confidence to demographic 

  • Exceptional understanding and adherence to NSW road rules and regulations 

  • Effective diary management and a strong work ethic able to tightly manage time and optimise schedule to service customers 

  • Ability to confidently adapt to various customer learning styles needs and preferences 

  • A willingness to be upskilled to deliver driver training products such as SDCand NRMAs proprietary Corporate Driver Training program 

  • A team player with a strong work ethic who is flexible and willing to adapt and grow with business demand and requirements  

  • A robust attitude and positive mindset
