Job Description
3 months contract with a Local Authority
Job Purpose
- Require X1 data manager/data analyst to work within responsive repairs. The team collect a lot of data but it is not always easy to report and sort into what the business requires. Requires someone used to and ok with sorting and presenting data in a range of formats.
Key Duties/Accountabilities
- To harness the power of data insights and intelligencebased decision making and collaborative working across Southwark Council through embedding a datadriven culture and using digital innovation and systematic approach to data capture to make a greater difference to decisionmaking.
- To lead development and reporting of a suite of intelligence and performance data with which to share insights make informed decisions track performance and target resources and capacity; to create consistent oversight of corporate performance and impact towards council priorities.
- To manage the delivery of a firstclass Business Intelligence and Performance function within the council acting as a conveyor of communities of practice to enable more effective and efficient ways of working mapping and aligning data systems monitoring and continuous improvement of performance.
Essential Experience Required
- Experience of working with others to introduce new business intelligence concepts and methods including data modelling and data dashboards is essential.
- Significant experience in working collaboratively to joinup data systems and data management; extract load and transforming data for performance cycle reporting purposes preferably in a Local Government context is essential.
Essential Qualification Required
- Educated to degree level or equivalent standard in information technologyrelated qualification is essential.

- Working hours: 36 hours per week.
