Job Description
Job Title: Senior CI/CD Engineer
Location: Remote
We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualifications:
Responsibilities:
- Design implement and manage scalable CI/CD pipelines to automate build test and deployment processes.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to integrate CI/CD solutions into existing and new software projects.
- Ensure seamless integration of code repositories version control systems and deployment strategies.
- Optimize pipelines for speed reliability and scalability to support rapid development cycles.
- Implement best practices for source control branching and versioning.
- Monitor and troubleshoot pipeline issues ensuring minimal downtime and quick resolutions.
- Drive automation efforts for infrastructure provisioning using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Develop and maintain scripts and tools to enhance the automation of workflows and deployments.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and tools in CI/CD and DevOps to recommend improvements.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers on CI/CD and DevOps best practices.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or a related field.
- Experience in CI/CD engineering or DevOps roles.
- Expertise with CI/CD tools like Jenkins GitLab CI/CD Azure DevOps CircleCI or Bamboo.
- Strong proficiency in scripting languages such as Python Bash or PowerShell.
- Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker Kubernetes).
- Proficiency in version control systems like Git and branching strategies (e.g. GitFlow).
- Handson experience with cloud platforms (AWS Azure or Google Cloud).
- Experience in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform Ansible or CloudFormation.
- Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus Grafana or ELK stack.
- Strong problemsolving skills and the ability to work in a fastpaced environment.
- Federal Experience is a plus.
- Required Security clearance.
