Job Description
As a Senior Data Analyst you will join our Shared Service team where we strongly believe that working hard and having fun are two compatible elements.
Data is everywhere and in recent years the amount of data being generated and collected by the Global Services Organization has grown exponentially. The use of accurate data to inform decisionmaking is key in our organization. The role of the Senior Data Analyst is to guide and help GCS make betterinformed decisions in any aspect of the business whether it relates to customer data entitlement data or data accuracy.
BI Solution Development: Design develop and optimize interactive dashboards reports and data visualizations using Power BI.
Data Integration: Extract transform and load (ETL) processes to combine data from multiple sources ensuring data accuracy integrity and consistency.
Collaboration with Stakeholders: Partner with functional teams to understand their data needs and deliver solutions to address complex business challenges.
Data Analysis & Interpretation: Conduct indepth data analysis and provide actionable insights to support strategic and operational decisionmaking.
Documentation & Training: Document BI solutions and provide training and support to business users to ensure they can leverage the tools effectively.
Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement improvements in BI processes tools and methodologies to enhance the companys data capabilities.
Qualifications :
Qualifications
Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science Data Analytics Information Systems or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Business Intelligence Developer or similar role in a large organization preferably multinational.
Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate or Power BI Data Analyst (preferred)
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in Power BI:Strong experience in creating and maintaining dashboards reports and data visualizations also handson experience within Microsoft Fabric including workspaces apps and user access.
Data Modeling:Expertise in data modeling and DAX (Data Analysis Expressions).
Communication:Excellent communication skills for presenting data insights to stakeholders.
Analytical Abilities: Proven experience in data analysis data modeling and a solid understanding of database warehousing principles.
Collaboration:Ability to work effectively with crossfunctional teams.
Time Management:Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
Experience with JIRA and Azure DevOps:Proficiency in using these tools for project management.
