Business Controller

As Business Controller you are responsible for the monthly close process forecasting reporting and annual preparation of a budget for one or more divisions. As Finance Business Partner of half of the Belgian business will directly report to the CFO and work in close collaboration with the Business Unit Leads. Your tasks will include but not be limited to:

• Preparation of the annual division budget jointly with sales and operations management
• Review and record of journal entries required to reflect the monthly activity
• Preparation of reporting dashboards supporting the monthly close process
• Analytical review of the monthly operating result of the division
• Monthly discussion with management on the business performance and areas of improvement
• Preparation of forecast incorporating historical results and future assumptions in close interaction with the business
• Accurate and timely production of all financial information
• Proper analytical review of division result as well as an overall business perspective
• Any other analytical responsibilities that may be assigned from time to time.

Qualifications :

• You have a bachelor degree in business administration with an emphasis in accounting.
• A minimum of 5 years experience in accounting and finance processes.
• You add value by being a credible process minded team player.
• You have a good business feeling and like to make the link between operational and financial issues.
• Your work is well organized with sense of priorities
• You have good interpersonal skills and act as a team player (both within the Finance Team and within the management team for which you are the Business partner)
• Possess good written and verbal communication skills including ability to articulate recommendations in a concise and timely manner
• Knowledge of tooling/software of TM1 Datawarehouse SAP Power BI Xcell Powerpoint
• You speak Dutch French and English
