Summary
The purpose of this job is to perform maintenance on company aircraft to ensure safety and airworthiness.
Essential Functions
- Perform scheduled maintenance tasks inspections on the airframes engines and avionics according to Parts 39 43 and 91 of the Federal Aviation Regulations (FAR) and manufacturer programs
- Troubleshoot and repair the airplanes (e.g. airframes engines and/or avionics)
- Maintain meticulous aircraft maintenance records
- Procure aircraft parts and equipment as required
- Attend initial and recurrent training on each airframe engine and avionics suite that the company operates
- Maintain calibration of special tooling and equipment as required
- Liaise with flight crews to aid in troubleshooting discrepancies and communicating aircraft maintenance status and item deferments
- Assist the Chief of Maintenance in planning scheduled maintenance events
- Coordinate aircraft maintenance away from home base when required
- Model behaviors that support the companys common purpose; ensure guests and team members are supported at the highest level
- Ensure all activities are in compliance with rules regulations policies and procedures
- Complete other duties as assigned
Qualifications :
- High school diploma or equivalent certificate required
- Vocational training preferred
- Minimum five years experience maintaining turbine powered swept wing airplanes required
- D Falcon 2000 maintenance experience and certificate required
Specialized Knowledge
- FAA Airframe and Powerplant certificate required
- FAA Inspection Authorization certification preferred
- Familiarity with Parts 39 43 and 91 of the FAR required

- Exposure to jet engine exhaust high noise levels radiation from aircraft radar and human waste
