VHIR offers a vacant position for a lawyer with experience in various areas of the Healthcare environment to develop tasks within the Legal Unit. This unit ensures the regulatory compliance in all institutional acts especially in biomedical research projects and IP Among the goals of this Units are: to ensure the regulatory compliance in all institutional acts especially in IP and biomedical research projects; give advice to the scientific community at VHIR of the continuous legal developments that affect biomedical research and therefore the transfer of results to society; and to the different services and units at VHIR.
Education and qualifications:
Required:
- Law Degree
- Specialization in Compliance
- Fluency in Catalan Spanish English.
Desired:
- Specialization in Data Protection
Experience and knowledge:
Required:
- At least 3 years of experience working as Compliance officer.
- Knowledge of antifraud and prevention of money laundering regulations.
- Experience in the implementation of regulatory plans.
- Experience in drafting contractual agreements.
- Ability to work in a team.
Desired:
- Specific knowledge in pharmaceutical and healthcare law and/or previous experience in the field of biomedical research will be positively valued.
Main responsibilities and duties:
- Coordinate the institutional compliance committee.
- Analyze the status of institutional regulatory compliance.
- Draft and implement regulatory plans specifically antifraud and prevention of money laundering regulations as well as all those derived from European regulations.
- Prepare and review institutional agreements
- Keep track of action plans and their development.
Labour conditions:
- Fulltime position: 40/week.
- Starting date: immediate.
- Gross annual salary: 30.000 35.000 euros (Remuneration will depend on experience and skills. Salary ranges are consistent with our Collective Agreement pay scale)
- Contract: permanent.
