Job Description
Position: Mechanical Engineer (HVAC)
Location: Sylacauga AL
Duration: Fulltime
Salary: DOE
Responsibilities:
Design and enhance HVAC systems prioritizing energy efficiency and performance while fulfilling client requirements.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to manage projects from start to finish ensuring quality and meeting deadlines.
- Apply your analytical expertise to diagnose system performance issues and develop creative solutions.
- Oversee project timelines and budgets keeping stakeholders informed and aligned throughout the process.
- Prepare detailed technical documentation and effectively communicate your findings to both clients and team members.
- Stay informed on industry trends construction practices materials and relevant regulations to deliver innovative and compliant solutions.
Desired Qualifications:
- Education: A Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field with a focus on HVAC systems.
- Technical Expertise: Strong mathematical and analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Innovative Thinker: A natural curiosity and proactive approach to solving problems effectively.
- Effective Communicator: Excellent verbal and written skills to simplify complex ideas and communicate them clearly.
- Project Management Experience: Prior experience managing projects and budgets is an asset.
- Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with construction processes HVAC materials and relevant regulations.
- Physical Ability: Willingness and ability to visit construction sites and client locations as needed.
- Certification: A Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred but not mandatory.
