Position Overview:
The company is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join their finance team. Reporting to the Controller the Senior Accountant will play a pivotal role in maintaining the integrity of the companys financial operations. This is an outstanding opportunity for an ambitious professional to make a significant impact within a growing organization dedicated to enhancing healthcare delivery.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the monthend and yearend close processes including preparing journal entries reconciliations and financial statement analysis.
- Provide financial insights by analyzing data trends and presenting actionable recommendations to management.
- Assist in creating financial forecasts budgets and variance analysis to support strategic decisionmaking.
- Ensure proper accounting treatment for healthcarerelated revenue streams including subscriptionbased services and customer contracts.
- Support external audits by collaborating with auditors and preparing documentation as needed.
- Identify opportunities to enhance accounting systems processes and internal controls for improved efficiency and accuracy.
- Stay informed on changes to healthcare industry regulations and accounting standards to ensure compliance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance required.
- 35 years of corporate accounting experience preferably in the healthcare or technology sector.
- CPA designation or prior experience in public accounting is highly desirable.
- Indepth knowledge of US GAAP and experience with financial reporting and compliance.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with ERP systems.
Compensation:
- Competitive salary based on experience. ($90000 $110000)
