We are seeking a dedicated Guest Service Associate (GSA) for our Food & Beverage department in Bengaluru India. As a GSA F&B you will play a crucial role in ensuring exceptional dining experiences for our guests by providing professional and efficient service.
- Greet and welcome guests according to company standards ensuring a positive first impression
- Take and process guest orders accurately providing menu recommendations when appropriate
- Serve food and beverages in a timely and professional manner
- Maintain cleanliness and proper setup of dining areas including tables chairs and service stations
- Handle guest inquiries requests and complaints promptly and courteously
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service and address any foodrelated issues
- Process payments and handle cash and credit transactions accurately
- Adhere to all food safety and hygiene standards
- Assist in setting up and breaking down for special events or functions
- Maintain knowledge of menu items daily specials and any changes in offerings
- Contribute to a positive team environment by supporting colleagues and maintaining open communication
Qualifications :
- Diploma or Degree in Hotel Management or equivalent qualification
- Previous experience in food and beverage service preferred
- Excellent customer service skills with a professional and friendly demeanor
- Strong knowledge of food and beverage products including menu items and preparation methods
- Ability to work efficiently in a fastpaced teamoriented environment
- Detailoriented with strong organizational skills
- Effective communication skills both verbal and written
- Basic math skills for handling financial transactions
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
- Physical stamina to stand and walk for extended periods
- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays
- Problemsolving skills to address guest concerns effectively
- Proficiency in using pointofsale (POS) systems is a plus
