Job Description:
We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accountant to join our team in Ahmedabad Gujarat. As an Accountant you will be responsible for handling various accounting and taxation tasks for our clients. Your main responsibilities will include superannuation fund accounting taxation accounts finalization preparation of periodic accounts tax returns financial statements audit support preparation of BAS returns like GST and payroll preparation.
Responsibilities:
- Manage superannuation fund accounting for clients ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant laws and regulations
- Handle taxation tasks including preparing tax returns and providing tax advice to clients
- Finalize accounts for clients ensuring accuracy and adherence to accounting principles and standards
- Prepare periodic accounts such as monthly quarterly and annual financial statements for clients
- Provide support during audits including preparing necessary documentation and responding to auditor inquiries
- Prepare BAS returns including GST for clients in a timely and accurate manner
- Process payrolls for clients ensuring all payments and deductions are accurately recorded
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related field
- At least 13 years of experience in accounting and taxation preferably in a KPO or similar environment
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and standards taxation laws and regulations and financial reporting
- Experience with superannuation fund accounting and BAS returns is highly desirable
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office applications
