Job Description:
Zee Zippers is seeking a skilled Cost Accountant to join our team in Chengalpattu. The ideal candidate will have 3 years of experience in costing and reporting preferably in the manufacturing exports or garments industry. This role will require you to closely monitor costs provide financial analysis and support the overall accounting and finance functions.
Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and analyze cost reports cost sheets and costing data for products and processes.

Monitor and report on manufacturing costs inventory levels and variances.

Conduct regular cost audits to identify discrepancies and recommend corrective actions.

Support the management team by providing insightful costrelated analysis for decisionmaking.

Ensure accurate reporting of production costs overheads and direct/indirect costs.

Assist with budgeting and forecasting related to costs and profitability.

Review cost allocation methods and propose improvements to enhance costefficiency.

Collaborate with various departments to ensure accurate and timely costing.

Prepare periodic reports for management review and assist with financial audits.
Mandatory Skills:

Strong knowledge and experience in costing and reporting

Proficient in cost accounting techniques and principles

Ability to analyze financial data and provide recommendations

Strong communication and organizational skills

Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software
