Job Description
Location: Remote/ Houston is preferred
Duration: 6Month Contract to Hire
Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Prophet 21 Support Analyst to join our clients team on a contracttohire basis. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience supporting Prophet 21 ERP users delivering enduser training and working on various projects to improve system utilization. Proficiency in SQL and development skills are a plus as is a proactive approach to troubleshooting and problem resolution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide daytoday support for Prophet 21 users addressing system issues resolving errors and ensuring optimal functionality.
- Conduct training sessions for endusers to enhance their understanding and utilization of the Prophet 21 system.
- Collaborate with stakeholders on systemrelated projects including implementations upgrades and process improvements.
- Analyze user needs and develop solutions to improve workflows and system efficiencies.
- Create and maintain documentation for system processes configurations and troubleshooting guidelines.
- Assist with data analysis and reporting leveraging SQL to extract and analyze data from Prophet 21.
- Work with development teams or independently on customization and enhancements to the system.
- Provide recommendations to improve system adoption and utilization based on user feedback and system performance.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience supporting Prophet 21 ERP in a professional environment.
- Proven experience training users on system functionality and best practices.
- Strong problemsolving skills with the ability to analyze and resolve system issues effectively.
- selfstarter ability to think outside the box
- Familiarity with SQL for querying and reporting purposes big plus.
- Knowledge of system customization and development is a strong plus.
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written with the ability to explain technical concepts to nontechnical users.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with a focus on delivering results in a fastpaced environment.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Prophet 21 system configurations and integrations.
- Knowledge of scripting languages or development tools used with Prophet 21.
- Familiarity with business processes in distribution or manufacturing environments.
