We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Healthcare Data Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 810 years of experience in the healthcare industry with a strong background in data analysis and proficiency in SQL. This role requires a deep understanding of clients claims pharmacy and member files as well as the ability to create sourcetotarget mapping documents with appropriate transformations. The candidate should have exceptional knowledge of these files and be able to effectively communicate in the healthcare language. Responsibilities: Gain a comprehensive understanding of clients claims pharmacy and member files. Analyze and interpret these files at a granular level identifying key data elements and their relationships. Create sourcetotarget mapping documents ensuring accurate and appropriate transformations. Utilize SQL and data analysis techniques to extract manipulate and cleanse data for analysis purposes. Conduct thorough data analysis to identify trends patterns and insights relevant to clients needs. Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to develop and implement datadriven solutions. Ensure data integrity and accuracy through meticulous data cleansing and validation processes. Stay updated with industry regulations payerprovider dynamics and emerging healthcare trends. Communicate effectively in the healthcare language bridging the gap between technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
Requirements: Bachelors degree in a relevant field (e.g. healthcare management data analytics computer science or a related field). 810 years of proven experience as a Senior Data Analyst in the healthcare industry. Strong SQL skills with the ability to write complex queries and perform advanced data transformations. Proficiency in data analysis techniques and tools. Exceptional knowledge of clients claims pharmacy and member files. Demonstrated expertise in creating sourcetotarget mapping documents with appropriate transformations. Excellent problemsolving and critical thinking skills. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Effective communication skills to bridge the gap between technical and nontechnical stakeholders using healthcare language. Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with healthcare data standards (e.g. HL7 CPT ICD10 etc.). Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau Power BI etc.). Proficient in statistical analysis and modeling techniques. Understanding of healthcare compliance and privacy regulations (e.g. HIPAA).
