Job Description
Job Title: MidLevel Security Analyst (US Citizens Only)
Location: Remote
We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualifications:
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and analyze security events using SIEM tools to detect potential threats.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration tests reporting findings with actionable recommendations.
- Assist in the development and implementation of security policies standards and procedures.
- Investigate security incidents determine the root cause and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Maintain uptodate knowledge of emerging threats vulnerabilities and security technologies.
- Perform security awareness training for employees.
- Collaborate with IT and other departments to ensure compliance with security policies and regulations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Cybersecurity Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience in cybersecurity or information security roles.
- Handson experience with SIEM tools firewalls IDS/IPS and endpoint security solutions.
- Experience in frameworks such as NIST ISO 27001 or CIS Controls.
- Strong understanding of networking concepts protocols and operating systems.
- Certifications such as CompTIA Security CEH or GIAC are preferred.
- Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
- Federal Experience is a plus.
- Required Security clearance.
