Job Description
Location: Remote
Duration: 1 year
Key role: Delivery of Storage solutions at an enterprise level
Specialization: Hitachi Data Systems (HDS) SAN and NetApp NAS technologies in a multi Data Center environment
Musthave skills: 10 years of cloud storage solution design and implementation 5 years of experience in automating infrastructure systems administering/troubleshooting/implementing File Block and Object Storage and managing data security/compliance and classification
Technical knowledge: 10 years of system engineering/Infrastructure and customer support experience with Storage Management NAS/SAN Arrays FC / ISCSI Storage Area Networks administering/troubleshooting/implementing File Block and Object Storage automating infrastructure systems supporting and optimizing VMWare Vsphere virtualization environments implementing and supporting VVOLs NTFS and Unix permission administration hybrid cloud infrastructure and programming
Education and certification: Bachelors degree in a technical field MCSE VCP CCNA certifications desired
Key deliverables: Provide senior level storage systems server setup administration configurations and automated implementations help support enterprise storage environments oversee planning design implementation and operation of Enterprise Storage Arrays infrastructure projects provide operational support for managing virtualized infrastructures participate in capacity planning and disaster recovery define and promote architecture and standards based on ITIL best practices provide technical guidance and mentorship to internal engineering peers drive requirements and technical duediligence and infrastructure design secure storage systems by establishing and enforcing policies complete organization missions as needed act as the primary infrastructure design contact on projects.
