Job Description
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Informatica Data Architect to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing implementing and managing data solutions using Informatica tools and will play a key role in the architecture of data integration ETL processes and data warehousing solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement complex data integration and ETL (Extract Transform Load) processes using Informatica PowerCenter Informatica Cloud or other Informatica tools.
- Develop data models architecture and structures to support data integration processes ensuring scalability reliability and performance.
- Collaborate with business and IT teams to understand data requirements and transform them into technical solutions.
- Develop and optimize data pipelines for largescale data extraction transformation and loading from various sources into the data warehouse.
- Manage the endtoend process of data flow from source to destination ensuring data consistency quality and integrity.
- Perform data profiling and data quality checks to ensure data is accurate clean and meets business requirements.
- Support data migration efforts and ensure smooth data transition from legacy systems to modern platforms.
- Troubleshoot and resolve datarelated issues including performance tuning data inconsistencies and errors in data processes.
- Mentor junior data engineers and guide them in best practices for ETL development and data management.
- Work with crossfunctional teams to design and implement data architecture and business intelligence solutions.
- Continuously evaluate new technologies and tools that can improve the performance scalability and efficiency of data solutions.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Systems or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in data architecture design and development.
- Strong experience with Informatica PowerCenter Informatica Cloud and other Informatica tools.
- Experience in data modeling data warehousing and integration.
- Proficiency in SQL and relational databases (e.g. Oracle SQL Server DB2).
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS Azure or Google Cloud is a plus.
- Strong problemsolving analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work in a collaborative environment.
- Knowledge of data governance security and privacy best practices.
- Experience with data quality data profiling and data lineage tools is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with other ETL tools such as Talend Microsoft SSIS or Ab Initio.
- Experience with big data technologies like Hadoop Spark or Kafka is a plus.
- Certifications in Informatica or other related technologies are advantageous.
